Nikola Tesla ~ The Man From Venus

Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was a brilliant inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, futurist and prolific writer. He was an eccentric, prophetic, and poetic genius with a metaphysical bent, who contributed to the development of innovations that have enhanced the world in which we live.

Tesla’s Predictions

“When wireless is perfectly applied the whole earth will be converted into a huge brain, which in fact it is, all things being particles of a real and rhythmic whole. We shall be able to communicate with one another instantly, irrespective of distance. Not only this, but through television and telephony we shall see and hear one another as perfectly as though we were face to face, despite intervening distances of thousands of miles; and the instruments through which we shall be able to do this will be amazingly simple compared with our present telephone. A man will be able to carry one in his vest pocket.” ~ Nikola Tesla – 1926 Collier’s Weekly interview, titled When Women are Boss

During the 1890s Tesla wrote a letter to a Purdue University professor explaining that he never limited himself “to mechanisms controlled from distance but to machines possessed of their own intelligence.” Read more ~ Resurfaced Nikola Tesla writings about machines with their ‘own mind’ eerily predict rise of AI

Nikola Tesla predicted drone technology, the internet, pocket-sized communication devices, and artificial intelligence over 100 years ago.

But his predictions also extended to social evolution. Tesla foresaw a shift in gender equality, saying: “This struggle of the human female toward sex equality will end in a new sex order, with the female as superior.”

Tesla never married or had children, and cared nothing about money or fame. He died alone, in obscurity and poverty.

Tesla’s Rise from Obscurity

There’s been a resurgence in interest in Tesla since the 1990s and almost everyone knows his name since the founding of Tesla Inc. in 2003. In 2013, Tesla even beat out legendary individuals such as Alexander Graham Bell, Charles Darwin, Leonardo de Vinci, and Albert Einstein, to become the Geek Madness Champion in a fan voted competition.

Nikola Tesla Birth Chart

Nikola Tesla was born on July 10th, 1856, at 00:00 LMT in Smiljan, Croatia (Birth time credit: Rodden rating B (Biography) – Porphyry chart

”Nikola Tesla was born around midnight, between July 9 and July 10, 1856 during a fierce lightning storm. According to family legend, midway through the birth, the midwife wrung her hands and declared the lightning a bad omen. This child will be a child of darkness, she said, to which his mother replied: “No. He will be a child of light.” ~ Eight Things You Didn’t Know About Nikola Tesla – pbs.org

Tesla’s Ascendant and First House

As we know the Ascendant (ASC) is the most personal point of a birth chart. It’s the environment into which you are born – the conditions a person faces at birth. Some believe it symbolizes your task in life – what you’re called to bring into existence on this Earth. Tesla has a Taurus ASC, Pluto in Taurus conjunct ASC and Uranus in Taurus in the first house; this is quite symbolic of a child who was born when the Earth was dark during a fierce lightning storm…. Or a child who was born with the task of bringing light to Earth’s darkness.

The Man from Venus

“Though chosen to share the 1912 Nobel Prize in Physics with Edison, Tesla refused the award and during his life tore up royalty contracts which would have earned him millions of dollars. Not much is known about this “strange” loner as Tesla spent most of his life in total seclusion.” However, those who did know him even slightly say he was not a normal human, but a real SUPERMAN, either a reincarnated master — or a spaceman with superior mental powers placed here to assist in earth’s technological development.”  ~ Tesla Universe

There’s even a book, Men of Mystery, that claims Tesla came from Venus and was adopted. Of course I found this woo-woo fascinating and a bit synchronistic after noting that Venus in Cancer is the guiding force in Tesla’s birth chart.

Dispositors

I’ll be writing about dispositors, so just in case you don’t know and want a good explanation of dispositors here’s a couple excerpts from Steven Forrest’s Planetary Dispositors. (Read the entire article to learn about dispositor trees)

“From time to time in your astrological reading, you will run into the word “dispositor.” It’s a fancy term for a simple idea – one that’s based directly on the principle of planetary rulership. Say Mercury is in Aries. Since Mars is the ruler of Aries, we would then say that Mars disposits Mercury or that Mars was Mercury’s dispositor. In a nutshell, a planet’s dispositor is the planet that rules the sign the planet happens to be in.“

“In practice, the dispositor represents a trio of interlocking influence over the expression of the planet which it disposits.

Relative to the disposited planet, the dispositor wields three pressures:

  • It represents a Guiding or Governing Principle
  • It represents an Overriding Concern
  • It represents a Constraining Limitation”

Venus in Cancer

  • Venus rules his Taurus ASC and is the chart ruler, as will as the ruler of his 2nd house.
  • Venus also disposits Pluto and Uranus in Taurus and his Libra stellium which consists of the Moon, Mars, and South Node.
  • Venus in Cancer is conjunct Tesla’s Cancer IC and Sun.
  • His Cancer Sun is disposits his Libra Moon which in turn disposits Venus in Cancer.
  • Jupiter in Aries disposits Mars in Libra which in turn disposits Venus in Cancer
  • Saturn in Cancer deposits the Libra Moon, which in turn disposits Venus in Cancer.
  • Venus in Cancer is in mutual reception but square his Libra Moon.
  • His Venus, Sun and IC are the apex (focal point) of a cardinal T-Square.

Venus The Light Bearer

Tesla’s Venus in Cancer is at a lesser degree than his Cancer Sun, which means he has a Morning Star Venus. Interestingly, this phase of Venus is called the light bearer. This is even more fascinating when you consider that when he was born his mother said “he would be a child of light.” It seems Mom herself was very prophetic, because her son, Nichola Tesla, was to become known as the man who lit up the world.

Mercury and Neptune

Mercury and Neptune are in the signs they rule which gives them a more potent effect on Tesla’s life. But when a planet is in the sign it rules it has no dispositor. Interestingly there are still some distant connections to Tesla’s Venus in Cancer.

  • Mercury is at home in Gemini (3rd house), and as you can see it’s only aspect is a wide but out of sign conjunction with Saturn in Cancer. Mercury is also softly touched by Venus, because Saturn in Cancer disposits his Libra Moon, while the Moon disposits and is in mutual reception with Venus in Cancer.
  • Neptune is in Pisces. Venus is exalted in Pisces. Neptune is also in the 11th house with Aquarius on the cusp, so the 11th house is ruled by Uranus in Taurus – which disposits Venus.

Round and round Venus goes in one way or another influencing everything in Tesla’s birth chart.

Nikola’s Mother was Venus

Sun/Venus conjunct in Cancer on the IC is a clear indication that Tesla had a strong connection to his mother. She was the most important and influential person in his life. His mother was his Venus. Listen to: A letter from Nikola Tesla to his mother  on YouTube

Tesla says of his mother:

“She was an inventor. She invented a weaving machine… Yes, and many things of more importance… From my mother comes the inventive faculty… and now, though she is dead, when the pressure of thought of some new idea is on me, I feel her presence.” ~ Nikola Tesla, Criterion, November 19, 1898
