2025 Pisces Season Horoscope
So many planets coming together in Pisces is a rare occurrence… plus the emotionally intense Scorpio Moon trines the enigmatic Pisces Sun/Mercury and squares revolutionary Pluto in Aquarius. Still, more importantly, Neptune in Pisces is exactly conjunct the Pisces North Node and opposite the Virgo South Node. It will be approximately 166 years before this happens again.

On February 20th visions of a better future will grow more fervent due to the optimistic Sagittarius Moon. At the same time Mercury in Pisces squares Jupiter in Gemini. All this can lead to a dance between intuition and intellect, as well as a tendency to overthink or over-communicate your feelings ~ confusing not just yourself but others. Expect it to take more than a few days before clarity arrives.
Mars Direct Station in Cancer – Tipping Point
On February 23, 2025, Mars Rx at 17º Cancer returns to forward motion. Since December 6, 2024 when Mars pivoted retrograde at 6º Leo, you’ve been on a journey to discover “what real heroism is in the present situation.
Hopefully, you didn’t go off-track, initiate action or take a stand on something you can’t back down from! Because as Mars moves forward you’ll likely be seeing the unintended consequences of any missteps you’ve taken. Still, “it ain’t over til’ it’s over” and this Mars RX cycle isn’t over until Mars once again passes 6º Leo in early May 2025.
Until then you’ll have an opportunity to bring resolution and closure to missteps and other issues stemming from as far back as the date when Mars first entered its pre-retrograde shadow period, which was October 4, 2024.
Mars has been in a bad place for quite some time.
- Mars is out-of-bounds from January 1 -April 7, 2025 (96 days.) When Mars is out-of-bounds it has gone off track and is no longer “bound” by the usual conventions or laws of the land. It can become manic and no longer feel the necessity to have to answer to any authority, or to conform to what is usually associated with being “normal.”
- Mars is in the sign of his FALL (Cancer) for a quarter of the year.
- Mars has been retrograde since December 6, 2024. Mars Rx is associated with increased aggression and frustration.
- Mars facing off with powerful Pluto. The first was on November 3, 2024 (while Mars was still moving direct); then again on January 3, 2025 (while retrograde AND out of bounds!) Its final face off will be on April 26, 2025, well after Mars begins moving direct.
Any one of these things on its own would make for an unhappy Mars.
As each of these “rights itself” astrologically, you will start feeling less and less helter-skelter, which will allow you to survey the mess that has been made and begin clearing it out.

The 2025 Pisces New Moon, could be the start of some positive activities. Still, due to the Pisces North Node and the 5 planet Pisces stellium your head could be in the clouds, filled with fuzzy, lofty, and indistinct ideas. So take care to “attain the highest level of responsibility that you can manage.”
As March begins, hopes are high – in some cases overly high. On March 2, 2025, the Pisces Sun is square Jupiter in Gemini, Mercury is conjunct Neptune, and Venus in Aries also turns Rx. My thought: Expectations are likely to far exceed what’s possible.
Venus Retrograde 2025; What’s worth fighting for
Venus begins her Rx journey on March 2, 2025 at 10°50 Aries and will be Rx until April 13, 2025 and returns to Pisces from March 27 – April 30, 2025 when she stations direct at 24°37’ Pisces. (Interestingly… October 2, 2024 Solar eclipse was at 10°4’ Libra opposite Venus’ S Rx degree.)
Synchronistically:
- The Sabian Symbol for 10°50 Aries (Venus station Rx degree) is “The President of the Country”
- The Sabian Symbol for 24°37’ Pisces (Venus station direct degree) is “The Purging of the Priesthood.”

Mercury Leave Pisces for Aries
On March 3, 2025, Mercury joins Venus Rx in Aries. Aries is ruled by Mars, and Mars is now moving forward in Cancer, which indicates your energy and momentum may not be straight forward but can be sustained. This is further amplified when on March 7th the Pisces Sun forms a trine Mars in Cancer. Keep in mind that haste makes waste and take care you don’t sidestep problems that need to be dealt with.
It isn’t until the Sun conjuncts Saturn on March 12, 2025 that the pace slows down a bit.
Virgo Full Moon Lunar Eclipse
The March 14, 2025 Virgo Full Moon total lunar eclipse is the first eclipse of 2025. It has huge karmic implications and marks the beginning of a new 18 month cycle.
The Virgo Moon is conjunct the Virgo South Node, while the Sun is part of a Pisces stellium featuring Saturn, Neptune and the North Node. The Virgo Moon is Trine Uranus in Taurus and Uranus sextiles the Pisces stellium. Unexpected revelations, realizations, and settling of old scores are likely to be on the agenda. A sinister plot may come to light … or, more positively, long sought for dreams may be attained.
Mercury Turns Retrograde in Aries
The following day, March 15th, Mercury in Aries turns retrograde (conjunct Venus Rx in Aries) and returns to Pisces on March 29th. Mercury ends its retrograde on April 7th, turns direct and leaves Pisces again on April 16th.
With both Venus and Mercury now retrograde you can expect some blasts from the past to spark aha moments.
Final Message of Pisces Season: Dare to Dream
