SUMMARY:November Meeting with Ken Bowser
DESCRIPTION:🪐 \nMAAS NOVEMBER LECTURE — THURSDAY\, NOVEMBER 18\, 2027 🪐\nUSING PRIMARY DIRECTIONS AS A TIMING TOOL\nWith Ken Bowser\n7:30 PM Eastern • ZOOM — Free for Members \n⏳ AN ANCIENT TECHNIQUE FOR PRECISION TIMING\nHow can Primary Directions be used to identify significant turning points in a life—or even in the history of a nation? \nJoin the Metropolitan Atlanta Astrology Society for a fascinating evening with Ken Bowser\, one of the leading practitioners and teachers of Western Sidereal Astrology\, as he demonstrates how Primary Directions can be used as a powerful timing technique. \nDrawing from his book\, Primary Directions and the Horoscope of the United States\, Ken will demonstrate the technique through historical events in the United States. His research uses specific primary directions to validate the timing of the U.S. chart—including the Moon for women’s suffrage\, Mars for the Civil War\, and Jupiter for victory in World War II. \nThis lecture offers an opportunity to see Primary Directions not simply as an historical technique\, but as a practical method for testing and refining chart timing. \n⭐ LECTURE DESCRIPTION\nPrimary Directions and the Horoscope of the United States\nThere is a time for the U.S. chart that has passed every rigorous test applied against it to date. Primary directions\, one of the most accurate timing tools in astrology\, were used by ancient and medieval astrologers. Using this technique\, Kenneth Bowser has found the primary direction pattern that corresponds to the historical events of our country—the Civil War\, the Louisiana Purchase\, women’s suffrage\, the 1929 stock market crash\, our victory in WWII\, the Civil Rights Movement and more. \nSecondary progressions chart the symbolic movement of planets within the horoscope. Primary directions direct the angles of a horoscope to the natal planets themselves. Fewer in number than progressions\, directions carry more weight and symbolize far more potent and important life circumstances and events. \nIn addition to its use in mundane astrology\, Ken will also discuss the ways this technique can be used to time events in personal astrology. Primary directions are the same in both zodiacs and both tropical and sidereal charts will be included. \n⭐ ABOUT KEN BOWSER\nBio: Kenneth Bowser\nKenneth Bowser\, author of An Introduction to Western Sidereal Astrology (2012)\, Primary Directions and the Horoscope of the United States (2015)\, and The Western Sidereal Interpretation Workbook (2020)\, has studied both astrology and ancient history for over fifty years. Ken is known both for his careful scholarship in the field of ancient astrology\, and for the depth and accuracy of his astrological interpretations. He offers a western sidereal astrology course\, a monthly mentoring group\, and variety of educational videos on his YouTube channel. His magazine articles have appeared in The Mountain Astrologer\, American Astrology Magazine\, The Siderealist\, The Traditional Astrologer\, and other publications. \nWebsite: www.WesternSiderealAstrology.com \n🌟 EXPLORE PRIMARY DIRECTIONS WITH A MASTER OF THE TECHNIQUE\nWhether you are interested in traditional astrology\, predictive techniques\, Western Sidereal Astrology\, or simply want to sharpen your ability to time important events\, this presentation offers a fascinating look at one of astrology’s oldest timing methods. \nZOOM — FREE FOR MAAS MEMBERS \nThursday\, November 18\, 2027 • 7:30 PM Eastern \n
