About the Certification Exams for the AFA

The American Federation of Astrologers offers three levels of certification.

The first level is the Advanced Exam, the second level is the Professional Exam and the third level is the Teacher’s Exam. A student must pass the first level before taking the second level exam.

The Professional Exam requires an extensive knowledge of how to mathematically calculate a natal chart as well as a secondary progressed chart. This class will be offered at a later date.

Everything the student will need to know for the Advanced Exam will be covered in this Advanced Exam Preparatory Class, which requires some math but does not require chart calculations.

Once students feel Note: The material covered in this Class in addition to the Professional Exam Preparatory Class will prepare you for certification for exams offered by ISAR, Kepler and NCGR

A proctored exam will be arranged for shortly after the completion of this class.
