The Three Kings and the Star in the East: A Journey Written in the Stars
The story of The Three Kings and the Star is much older than the story told in the Bible. It’s connected to the constellation of Orion and the fixed star Sirius and is reflected in stories found in ancient Egyptian mythology. We will explore how this story traveled from the heavens in ancient times to the present day. Following Wade’s talk, we’ll play Astro-Survival
About Wade Hyde
Wade has been a member of MAAS since the late nineties and is currently an active member of the MAAS Steering Circle. In addition to astrology and his contribution to MAAS, he is also an ordained minister. Fortunately, astrology and reincarnation are accepted by the Church of St. Thomas. Wade currently teaches astrology at the Karin Kabala Center and incorporates astrology into his pastoral counseling.
We’ll break into teams (randomly chosen by the Zoom software) and compete for bragging rights!
Julie Remington will set the stage with a short story of adventure and mishap. Then each team will go to their assigned Zoom Breakout Room with the same set of astrological clues. You’ll work together with your team to decode the clues and discover what items are available for you to use to survive this harrowing adventure. You won’t have room for everything though, so you’ll have to pick the most important. When time is up, we’ll return to the main Zoom meeting room and the survivors will be revealed.
