Monthly Meeting – Margo Cline on the Great American Solar Eclipse

August 17, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Beloved Southern Astrologer Margo Cline will be joining us at MAAS on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 7:30 PM to discuss the astrological meaning of the Total Solar Eclipse. The eclipse occurs on August 21, 2017, with North Georgia being in the path of Totality.

Margo will present her thoughts on the Eclipse and then open the floor for lively discussion on this fantastic lunar event that our country hasn’t seen since 1979. Note as well that the last time a total eclipse was visible from coast to coast was on June 8, 1918.

This Total New Moon Solar Eclipse occurs at 28 degrees and 53 minutes of Leo. You may want to find where the Eclipse lands in your own birthchart prior to our meeting and gather your thoughts about how it may impact you personally.

At the bottom of the page is the chart of the eclipse drawn for August, 21, 2017, 2:32 PM, Atlanta, GA.

The third image below is an animation of a solar eclipse from NASA.

And here’s a video that brilliantly tracks the path of the Eclipse across the country and across Georgia. Thanks to
