Are you ready for Uranus in Taurus? How will the planet of innovation and radical progress impact money and the whole financial environment? What will the impact be on technology? How about weather, earth changes and the environment? As a historical comparison, Uranus was last in Taurus from 1935 to 1942.

For the past 7 years Uranus, the planet of revolutionary change, has been in the fiery, pioneering, forward moving “me-first” sign of Aries. How can we prepare for the shift into solid and traditional Taurus, where Uranus isn’t comfortable? Uranus is the energy of change and revolution, while Taurus holds on to the time-tested and resists change. What will this push-pull energy bring?

Uranus fully enters Taurus on March 7, 2019, and will travel exclusively through the sign of the Bull for the following 7 years, until April 25, 2026. This shift from Aries to Taurus is an enormous change of energy and will impact our finances, our society, our culture, our politics, our environment, and each of us personally in myriad ways.

Come prepared with your questions, comments, and insights. This is an audience participation panel discussion.

Coming into relationship with the cosmos through the art and discipline of astrology is a life-long practice. Astrology opens up realms of knowledge to its practitioners that fundamentally challenge dominant perceptions of a disenchanted universe, awakening us to deeper participation in the spiritual meaning permeating the cosmos. Becca’s lecture will bring transpersonal psychology and participatory theory into dialogue to show how astrology can be lived as a daily practice with profound relational and psychospiritual implications.

Becca S. Tarnas, Ph.D. is a scholar, artist, and editor of Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology. She received her doctorate in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies, with her dissertation titled The Back of Beyond: The Red Books of C. G. Jung and J. R. R. Tolkien. Becca received her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in Environmental Studies and Theatre Arts, and M.A. in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at CIIS. Monthly Meeting – Marie O’Neill on the Lunar Nodal Return

Members attend free. Non-Members attend for $15.

All of us are aware that in life there are numerous cycles such as the cycle of birth and death, work cycle, pregnancy cycle, growth cycle, and more…

This is a part of the rhythm of the Universe that all of us participate in. We can choose to work consciously with this rhythm – hopefully lessening the trauma we encounter; or we can choose to remain unconscious – swimming upstream of this rhythm, causing ourselves to remain stuck in yet another cycle of ‘perpetual trauma and numbness’. The choice is ours. So, you say “What does this have to do with the Moon’s Nodes?”

The Lunar Nodes point directly to our Karmic inheritance from prior lives’ which has ripened. And, since the entire astrology chart is our karma – the nodes take on special importance as a road map to our healing process and the Evolutionary intention of our Soul. There is a distinct rhythm inherent in each person’s nodal cycle by age – which can be used as a gauge, alerting us to where we are in the healing process of our karmic wounds. Our focus this evening  is on the 19 year cycle by age – of the transiting lunar nodes. Each nodal return and its opposition has a distinct resonance therefore; we will pay particular attention to tone of each cycle through 3 nodal returns – age 19 through 57. In addition, we will discuss what happens if a planet is conjunct one of the nodes.

Hope to see you there!

The Moon's North and South Nodes are karmic and evolutionary symbols in every person's birth chart. They are derived from the points where the Moon's path around Earth crosses the ecliptic (the belt through which the Sun and planets appear to travel from our perspective on Earth).
